Tonight I'm going out with some girlfriends to a small plates lounge for cocktails (how grown up does that sound?) ...and I'm extra excited because the food is all organic and purchased from local farms. Plus, they have PB & J ice cream - what's not to love?
Then on Saturday, Drew and I are going to see all of the short films that were nominated for Oscars this year - the art deco theater E Street Cinema (in downtown DC) shows the live action and animated shorts as collections. This will be my fourth year in a row and I'm so excited!

As we go into Pre-Valentine's weekend, please enjoy this great romantic comedy roundup from the cuties at Madewell - there is no heart break too great to be fixed with a little Sixteen Candles and Annie Hall.
And last, but not least, GO RAVENS! Baltimore proved this week that they're not just "The Wire" and crabs, guys... but my favorite thing to come out of all of the madness is this hilarious Weekend Update bit (with Kenan as Ray Lewis). "No roads are closed to Ray Lewis!" Laugh and enjoy :)

I know this is a little late, but I cannot tell you how absolutely, positively, and incredibly JEALOUS Chris and I were when we saw that you were going to E Street Cinema! It is such a hip place, and you feel like instantly cooler the second you walk in. We saw the shorts and all the Oscar nominees there last year and it was one of our top 5 favorite places to go in DC! I hope you and Drew enjoyed them and had a lovely weekend!!
