As you can see above, there are a lot of different ways you can sport this trend - bottom lashes only or with a hint of teal above and below are my personal favorites. It gives you a punch of color without overwhelming the face. I'm not going for peacock makeup - I just want to brighten up my face a little (and have some fun with my morning makeup routine!). So, after a fun Sephora trip last week, I chose my teal liner:
I'm using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Bright Teal. I've had great luck with Urban Decay in the past (I use their eyelid primer and their Naked palette every day!) and I figured I couldn't go wrong with this heavily pigmented shade. So, here's how it came out:
I only did the bottom lashes, and as you can see, it's pretty subtle - but I didn't want to stop traffic! I just wanted a nice pop of color to shakes things up.
Verdict for me: You guys - I am LOVING it! It feels edgy and hip, without being too much for the office. I'm so in love that I think I may try it with other shades - maybe colbalt blue or neon orange? We'll have to see! Who knows how brave I will feel next week...
What about you guys? Would you ever try teal liner? Would you be bold enough to wear it on your top and bottom lids? What new eye makeup trends are you sporting? I'd love to hear from you!
Until next time, my darlings!
xoxo,

You made this look SO good. I STRONGLY suggest doing this on the reg! I think the teal looks so good on you because of your beautiful brown eyes; perhaps I'll try purple to compliment my green?! I'll be sure to instagram if I can make it work!
ReplyDeleteLet me preface this by saying - I totally love you.
