And I swear I'm not trying to sabotage your New Year's resolutions - it's just too cold out there to eat like a grown up. It's hot chocolate/blanket cuddling/Netflix watching/wool socks and a hat in the house kind of weather. It seems like a natural progression to drink liquid candy bars - right? Right? ……Bueller?

Toblerone Hot Chocolate
1 Toblerone Bar
1/4 Cup Half and Half
2 Cups Whole Milk
Whipped Cream for garnish
Unwrap your Toblerone bar and set aside one triangle to crumble for garnish. Roughly chop the rest of the chocolate and place in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the half and half and stir continuously until chocolate is completely melted (being careful not to let it burn). Reduce heat to medium low and add your milk, whisking until well mixed and frothy (about one minute). If you like it extra chocolate, toss in some cocoa powder or a handful of milk chocolate chips until melted. Pour into two mugs and top with whipped cream and crumbled Toblerone. Drink them both yourself (or share if you're feeling generous!)
